RISE OF THE GUARDIANS

Last week we started watching an amazing production by DreamWorks called "Rise of the Guardians." Have a look at the banner...

Spring is a season most people love!! That´s why we celebrated its arrival having fun and playing in the sun!

There were five different game stations. Pupils were divided into teams and they took turns to play each of the games!

Last Tuesday we invited parents to see how 6th Form works.
The children and their parents worked together, and we really spent a wonderful afternoon!

Así trabajamos en el Taller

Es difícil contarles cómo trabajamos en el Taller de Matemática, todos los martes y jueves después del almuerzo.
No sólo resolvemos variados problemas, similares a los que nos proponen resolver en los distintos certámenes de la Olimpíada Matemática Ñandú. Lo más interesante es la forma en que los resolvemos.

Proponemos diferentes estrategias, las discutimos, las descartamos, anotamos, borramos, calculamos, abandonamos y retomamos... Y muchas veces nos llevamos los problemas a casa (en la cabeza, no en el papel) y volvemos con una idea nueva.

Es muy interesante esta manera colectiva de hacer matemática que han inaugurado los chicos. ¡Bravo!
