Bye Mica! Hello Gise!

During this week the children said goodbye to Mica, who is embarking on a new adventure ;) .We will all miss so much her bright smile and her cheerful personality. Last Friday we had a surprise goodbye party and wished her good luck. Here are the photos of how much fun we had.

The children showered her with presents and good memories. Mica also gave the children a handmade souvenir: a bracelet. 

The kids also had a special surprise for Mica: a dance ,that with tons of love, they prepared for her.

 By the end of the day, the students had an listening comprehension activity in which they had to order the lyrics of a song. They all loved this activity and enjoyed listening to the song. We developed listening skills and most important of all we worked in team, listened to each other in order to achieve a goal and learned to respect other´s  opinion.

Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I´ll miss you until we meet again.

Fun with Speaking and Writing in Third Form

In third form we know the importance of applying what we learn in English class. We also know that using English should be interesting, spontaneous, and sometimes a little silly. So, we would like to share some of favorite activities with you all from our first two weeks!

This year we use mini dry erase boards to show what we've learned. Recently, Miss Becca put pictures of different imperative commands on the board and we wrote the commands that she showed on our dry erase boards.

                                          Here's an example of a command we wrote. This one

While its lots of fun to use our dry erase boards to write in English, we understand the importance of speaking too. That's why we did an activity that allows us to speak and draw, one of our favorite past times. In this activity Becca showed us a picture of a nice classroom, but half of us could not see it! So, those of us who could see the classroom helped our partners out by telling them what to draw. Take a look!

Below is a short video clip where we show our speaking skills. We're really good at talking about our classroom! Becca is very proud of how much and how fast we learn.

We're looking forward to improving our English and having more fun in third form. Stay tuned and watch us learn together. 

Séptimo... los padrinos y madrinas de primer grado

Nuevamente nos encontramos para contarles que finalmente hicimos el juego con los chicos de primer grado, donde disfrutamos de una búsqueda del tesoro por todo el cole.

Acá les dejamos registro de nuestra jornada juntos y para "morirse " de amor les contamos una frase que causó muchas sensaciones tanto para los más pequeños como para los más grandes...

Uno de los nenes de primer grado dijo "_Esa señora me hizo upa el otro día". Todos miramos a dónde señalaba y esa "señora" era de una de las alumnas de séptimo!!!!!

Durante el juego hubo risas, gritos, emociones, diversión, ansiedad y muchas sensaciones más, donde primerito pudo disfrutar de ser cuidado y los chicos de séptimo sentirse "grandes" y preparados para cuidar.
