Lost On a Deserted Island!!!

Last Monday we played Lost on a Deserted Island! Each kid had to choose one, and only one, object to take to a deserted island. After explaining their choice, the kids were divided in groups and had to create a special device that would take them home.... They had to include all the objects chosen by the members of the group!

Let´s take a look at their creations!

The girls invented a device using a map, a camera, matches and a cell phone!

This group included a guitar and a bike!

They designed a super boat full of commodities!

English Tea Party 2015

Today we enjoyed our Annual English Tea Party!

During last week, 6th Form worked on different aspects of the English culture: Location, Name, Flag, Traditions, Tea Time, and their Coat of Arms...

That was our special topic for this ocassion: The Official Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

We discussed its different parts and meaning, and the kids explained to the rest of the school what we had studied days before.

The second part of our show was very special! The kids created their own Coat of Arms! It was a really nice experience as a group, since they were able to share, to give their opinions, to coordinate different ideas and to be very creative! You will find below, some pics and its explanation! We hope you like it!

6th Form Official Coat of Arms

Quadrant 1:
Argentina´s flag, because it represents us as a country.

Quadrant 2:
The forest, because it is the main habitat for both, the leopard and the panda.

Quadrant 3:
Red and green quadrant with a G musical key, because we like music and those colours.

Quadrant 4:
Orange and violet: The colours of our school; and the light bulb because we have lots of ideas.

Panda Bear:
Because they are cute like us.

Leopard:
Because they are fast, we like their fur, and they are fierce.

Octopus:
Because they have lots of arms and they can do many things at the same time.

Angel:
Because we are nice, friendly and sweet most of the time.

Devil:
Because we can sometimes get a bit naughty.

Motto:
We believe in the power of imagination to create new things, and to know and learn all the time.

P.S: They all took home a decorated paper Tea Pot and some flavoured Tea Bags!

Great job 6th Form!!!! You make me feel sooooo proud and happy!!!!
