Visualizing Grammar with Toy Cars in Second Form

The difference between this/that and these/those can be quite tricky. So, in Second Form we decided to use toy cars to help us visualize the difference. Miss Becca told us an adjective and we had to roll our car to the adjective that we heard.

With a little help from Aaron and Agus, Mateo skillfully rolls his car to those, which is the adjective that is use for objects that are far away and plural. Way to go guys!

Here Vigi and Luli  move their car to these. This adjective is used for objects that are plural and close by. Good job girls!

This activity not only helps us visualize grammar but also enables us to listen for different vowel sounds as well. Sometimes the difference in sounds between this and these can be hard to hear, but practice makes perfect!

Here, Valen and Mora decided that they heard those and rolled their car to the correct spot. Great job!
