RHYMING A RHYMING RHYME!

This month we started a new project. During the rest of the year we will work on phonics and rhyming sounds...We're going to have lots of fun and learn how English language works. After these first steps we'll jump into WRITING!!

We started by listening two great stories: HEN'S PENS and BIG PIG ON A DIG (Links below). We discovered that there are many many words that sound VERY similar in English:

MAP rhymes with CAT-MAT and RATPIG rhymes with BIG-DIG and WIG
And as we love learning we ket on working on rhymes...

WE ARE EVEN PREPARING A RHYME CORNER!

  1. Awesome work, 2nd form!!! I love rhymes! Here´s one I learnt when I was your age:
    One, two,
    Buckle my shoe;
    Three, four,
    Open the door;
    Five, six,
    Pick up sticks;
    Seven, eight,
    Lay them straight:
    Nine, ten,
    A big, fat hen!
